FAQs
Digital wallets use contactless payment technology, which can save you time and hassle when checking
out either in-store
or online. You just need your eligible smartphone or smartwatch handy.
All Arrow Bank debit cardholders can use digital wallet by downloading the digital wallet app from
your preferred
provider (Apple, Google, Samsung) and adding your Arrow Bank debit card as a payment method.
Digital wallets are generally considered safe due to a number of security features. Tokenization uses
unique codes
instead of your actual card number so merchants never see your real details. Encryption scrambles
your data, making
it unreadable, and biometrics and PIN protection requires an extra layer of fingerprint, face ID or
PIN for every
transaction.
The biggest risk is losing your unlocked phone, which could allow unauthorized access to your money.
Always maintain
strong device protection and be cautious when clicking on any links, especially using public Wi-Fi.
Depending on the terminal, you may be asked for your Arrow Bank PIN as an added layer of security for
your debit card.
