Arrow Bank Announces 175th Anniversary Celebration
GLENS FALLS, N.Y. (January 23, 2026) — Arrow Bank National Association is proud to announce the launch of its 175th anniversary celebration in 2026, marking nearly two centuries of service to customers, teammates and communities across upstate New York and beyond.
Founded in December 1851 and originally named Glens Falls Bank, the company has grown and evolved considerably over the decades, while keeping Glens Falls as its headquarters. In its more recent history, the company expanded to include Saratoga National Bank and Trust Company and an affiliated insurance agency, Upstate Agency, LLC, all of which became integral parts of what we now know as the Arrow Family of Companies. Under the parent holding company Arrow Financial Corporation, Glens Falls National Bank and Trust Company and Saratoga National Bank served their communities with a shared purpose for many years.
In 2025, the company unified Glens Falls National Bank and Saratoga National Bank under a single charter and renamed as Arrow Bank, strengthening its ability to deliver personalized banking solutions and deepen its community impact across its 38 branches and eight-county service area.
